The EDM department supports
our tool making and prototype activities and provides valuable EDM
services to an increasing customer base. Equipment includes three
CNC WIRE EDM machines, one CNC RAM EDM machine and two EDM Small Hole
machines.
Two computer workstations are used to generate programs
that are downloaded into the applicable machine.
Current equipment allows for work areas up to 10"
x 15" x 15-3/4" for wire EDM and up to 8" x 12"
x 10" for RAM EDM.
Four axis capabilities. Wire diameters of 0.004"
to 0.010"
